ST. JAMES CHURCH, CLANFIELD
Whether you have come into our church as a regular worshipper, or an occasional visitor, or you just popped in for some peace and quiet during a busy day, we hope you feel welcomed.
The history of St James tells a story about how people have been worshipping and praying in this place since medieval times. This church has become a holy space where people at all stages on their spiritual journey can come and find God. Our church is therefore more than just a quaint, picture postcard of bricks and mortar; rather its foundations are based on the generations of Christian people who have found and continue to find God in Jesus Christ.
Our aim is to be an extended family and we welcome people of all ages and traditions. On this website you will find a list of services ranging from the traditional Prayer Book Communion service, through a modern language Communion Service, to an informal family service. We also worship with the other churches in the area regularly.
Whatever your wants and needs, we welcome you into our Christian family here in Clanfield. This is your village parish church and it is our hope that you find your home here with us.
